June

Moving into June from a chilly May there was a hidden intention , you had to slow down to notice but i was there , maybe a leaf sprouting in a sheltered spot or shoots from the ground and then the warmth arrived and as by magic life appeared full of vitality , vividness and colour. You felt this energy if you stopped , sat down for 20 minutes and opened up your awareness to the whole , the bird song , the aroma and the colours. You notice the Buttercups but soo after there is whites and array of purples , lilacs along with crimsons beckoning you over , be like a Bee and jump from one to the other soaking in their life force as if its nectar. Its along the open areas and verges which draw your attention most as the woodland seems to just be silent allowing the ferns to unfold and the ground cover silently spread. I like the contrast which this place offers whilst walking around , a musical cadence of frantic wild plants jostling for a place and then soothing sections where it brings you back to yourself and then another section. Each time i go , there is something new arriving and things i have never noticed before. It is like watching a film over and over which reveals its hidden depths to the story. The walk needs to be slow and purposeful anchoring nature to hold you , ground you and connect to you. Begin with an intention to fully immerse yourself into awe and beauty and your motivation is returning back to something which supports you unconditionally.
