It is times like this that i do not think Forestry England realises how special this place really is and its healing qualities it has along with home for some amazing nature.

You can feel that it is right on the cusp of exploding into life but has this magical feeling of serenity at the same time. Your palette is dark greens and browns , lots of contrast and you feel its texture in every turn you make.

The wonderful dried grasses of now whites , sienna and some reddy browns have a secret beneath of new grasses forming and ready to take over that delightful show. The buds which have begun and fully committed to spring when investigated deeper and closer are full of awe and wonderment. In some sections even coppice wood had sprouted and eager to forms buds for the new year.

As any month , this place is a wonder to visit , make your journey slow and intentional in connecting every cell of yourself into deeply looking how everything is just so beautiful. Just do not walk passed with headphones on , listen to the beginning of a birdsong which will echo across the place for 6 months. Talk to the trees , hug a few and fee the textures with your hands.
